Our 17-day group tour is an adventure like no other, taking you through the most incredible historical sites and ancient cultures of the land of Persia combined with a full day trip in the remote Shahdad desert and much more besides. In your expedition, you will explore Iran's most famous and vibrant cities like Shiraz, Kerman, Yazd, Isfahan, Kashan, Qom, and Tehran to embrace their colorful traditions and history along the way. In other words, this journey will take you back in time as you delve into Iran’s old terrific landmarks with breathtaking sights and architectural complexity and find more about the life of people in those eras. Additionally, in each city, you will explore its modern texture with beautiful marketplaces and buildings, taste its yummy local food, along communicate with local people in their stamping grounds. With its diverse activities, we assure you that this tour will be a treat for all senses.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Shiraz / Shiraz City Tour

Arrive in Shiraz, meet the guide and transfer to the hotel.

After eating lunch, you will be taken to visit Maharlu lake. Drive back to Shiraz. In the afternoon, you are going to see Vakil complex including Karim khan citadel, Vakil Mosque, Bath and traditional bazar.

Overnight in Shiraz

Your city tour starts with exploring the magnetic Nasir al-Molk Mosque (Pink Mosque) with its exquisite tiling and colorful glass work. Then you will go to visit Naranjestan Qavam, one of the attractive old Persian mansion and garden in Shiraz dating back to the Qajar era. Eram garden and Hafez tomb (Haafezieh) are your next stop. You will also visit Shah-e Cheraq or Ali-ebnehamzeh if time allows.

Overnight in Shiraz

Today you will have an excursion to Persepolis, the glorious ceremonial capital of Achaemenid dynasty, and Necropolis, Home to a collection of ancient Iranian rock reliefs carved in the façade of the mountain, and the final resting place of our Achaemenid kings. Continue to visit Pasargadae, the tomb of Cyrus the great (a UNESCO World heritage site) founder of Achaemenid kingdom. Back to Shiraz.

Drive toward Kerman, on your way visit the rocky village of Meymand.

Overnight in Kerman

Drive to Mahan and discover the ancient Prince (Shazdeh) Garden. Continue your way and visit Rayen Citadel. After that go to Bam and see the ruins of Bam Citadel. Drive back to Kerman.

Overnight in Kerman

Today you will have a full day trip to Shahdad Desert, and will relish the otherworldly landscape of Kaluts area. Drive back to Kerman.

Overnight in Kerman

After the breakfast, you will go to see Ganjali khan complex including Jabalieh dome and the traditional Bazaar.

Then move toward Yazd. On your way, visit Fath Abad Historical Garden with its unique architecture. Following this garden, you will stop at Zeinodin caravansary. In Yazd, you will go to visit the old part of the city, Fahadan Region.

Overnight in Yazd

In Yazd you will visit Yazd Jame Mosque. Your next stop will be at the splendid Amir Chakhmaq Square; a complex including a mosque, a caravanserai, a tekyeh, a bathhouse, a cold water well, and a confectionery. Then, go to visit Dowlat Abad Garden and Zurkhaneh, an ancient Persian sport club.

Overnight in Yazd

Zoroastrian attractions like Zoroastrian Fire Temple and Tower of Silence and chak chak are next sites to visit in your last day Yazd city tour.

Overnight in Yazd

Move toward Isfahan. Visit Narin Citadel in Meybod and pottery workshop. Your next stop is Jameh mosque of Naein. Keep going to Isfahan.

Overnight in Isfahan

On your first day of Isfahan city your, visit Vank Cathedral and in Jolfa region. You will be taken to visit Isfahan Jame Mosque in the afternoon. Then you will enjoy Isfahan nightlife by strolling Khaju Bridge and Sio Se Pol bridge.

Overnight in Isfahan

After eating breakfast go to see Naghsh- e Jahan Square in which Safavid structures like Aliqapu Palace, Sheikh Lotfolah Mosque, and Qeysarieh Bazaar are located. Chehel Sotoon is your last stop to visit today.

Overnight in Isfahan

Move toward Kashan. On your way visit the old village of Abyaneh, which is famous for its red houses and people’s particular way of clothing.

Overnight in Kashan

In Kashan you will go to visit Fin Garden, and Soltan Amir Ahmad Bath. Then you will see Boroujerdi and Tabatabaei traditional houses, along with Agha Bozorg School and Mosque. You will also discover Timche aminodoleh in Kashan bazaar.

Overnight in Kashan

Drive toward Tehran. On your way you will stop at Fatima Masume holy shrine in Qom.

Continue your way to the capital.

Overnight in Tehran

In Tehran you will explore Golestan Complex, one of the architectural masterpieces dating back to the Qajar era. National museum of Iran is your next stop to visit.

In the afternoon you will stroll in Tehran Grand Bazaar and visit Azadi Tower. You can also visit Nature Bridge if time allows.

Overnight in Tehran

Transfer to Imam Khomeini International Airport for your departure flight.
